The reopening of Allen Schools was discussed Monday, June 8 , at the regular meeting of Allen School Board. However, just exactly how it will be implemented is far from being set in stone as administrators will work over the summer break to develop a plan for reopening.

Alice Jane (Sockey) Dorrough, 55, of St. Louis, Oklahoma resident, passed away, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 Shawnee, Oklahoma. Alice was born May 1, 1965 in Flint, Michigan to James Byron Sockey, Sr. and Lurlie Ann (Bolen) Sockey. Alice grew up in Allen, Oklahoma and spent the rest of her adult life in St. Louis, Oklahoma. She was a tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
