James Errol Lawrence passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at Shawnee Colonial Estates in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Jim was born August 30, 1947 in Lubbock, Texas to Errol Brian Lawrence and Dorothy (Bishop) Brand.

Carmen Leann Nolen (Dunn), a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2026, after a courageous battle with Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Shirley Jean Ellis passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the age of 82 years. Shirley is the daughter of Melvin Turpin and Etta (Cherry) Turpin, born on September 26, 1943, at the family homeplace in Non, Oklahoma.

Glennis (Glen) Leon Miller passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, June 12, 2026, at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16th, at 10:00 a.m.

Frank Thomas, 97, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at SSM Health, Oklahoma City. He was born on October 30, 1928, in Allen, Oklahoma to Clarence and Susan Harjo Thomas. He was a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation.

Lifelong Konawa resident, Darla Jean Shaw Kelley, entered into eternal rest on June 27, 2026 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born October 6, 1955 in Ada to Sanford Shaw and Viola Alma Addington Shaw.

Louis Nelson Rowsey of Atwood passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 88. During his final days, he was lovingly surrounded by his family. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date and time.

Services for Ronald Eugene Janda, 76, of Allen, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30th, at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, Allen; Rev. Mark Barnes and Rev. Earl Scroggins will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Edgar Lee (“Ed”) Mays was born on July 14, 1936 in Allen, Oklahoma to Thomas Matthew Mays and Esther Pearl Dyson Mays. He passed away April 26, 2026. Ed grew up in Allen with his parents and sister, Twyla, as well as many relatives.

Gerald L. Beeney, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 9, 1948, in Pekin, Illinois, to Tom & Margret (Keeyes) Biggs. He was later adopted and lovingly raised by Murle Beeney.
