Allen Public Schools has been notified of a gas leak on their campus. Students were able to finish out Wednesday safely, but all of our schools will be distance learning today, Thursday, January 21 . Each day will be taken one at a time until the leak is fixed and it is safe for students and staff to return to campus.

Thomas “Tom” James Spillman, age 87, of Atwood, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born April 23, 1933 on a dairy farm in Miami County, Kansas to John Lee Spillman and Gladys May (Welborn) Spillman. He was a graduate of Wellsville High School, where he loved playing football.
