Allen Public Schools has been notified of a gas leak on their campus. Students were able to finish out Wednesday safely, but all of our schools will be distance learning today, Thursday, January 21 ^st . Each day will be taken one at a time until the leak is fixed and it is safe for students and staff to return to campus.

Elementary students have been given paper packet work in their backpacks and 6 ^th to 12 ^th and Alternative Education students should check their online communications with their teachers.

Parents will be updated via Facebook and do a call out if school isn’t able to be in session on Friday. They are hopeful that the leak will be fixed, and students will be back in the classroom on Friday.
