If you didn’t care who won the game last Friday night at Stratford it would have been a perfect night. Beautiful weather, great fans, exciting cheerleaders and two tough hardhitting teams. But we do care, and the Allen Mustangs came out on the short end in a 30-22 loss to Stratford.

gave up 4 hits. Kayla Nickell and Stoney Culley each had 2 hits for Allen. Prentice and Cully also stole multiple bases. Khloe Goodson also had a double in the game. Bowerman and Davis each had a triple Healton proved to be too strong for Allen winning 9-1.

In the past 7 days the Lady Mustangs have played 8 games. Think about the heat the dust and the late nights on the bus, through all that the girls have played some excellent softball. The Rock Creek Tournament was full of a lot of great competition.

all Allen in the contests coming out with 15-1 and 13-1. In the first game Freshman Khloe Goodson faced 15 batters and earned the 3-inning win giving up 2 hits, 1 run, and striking out 4. Offensively the Lady Mustangs scored 15 runs on 12 hits, had 12 rbi’s 6 base on balls and 1 strike-out.

The Lady Mustang softball started the season strong owning a 5-1 record in early part of the season. The Lady Mustangs only loss is a 6-7 loss to Wister.
