The Lady Mustang softball team has hit the ground running. After a very successful basketball season many of those same players have put on their cleats and hit the softball field. They are still knocking off the cobwebs but played a series of 4 games at the beginning of spring break.

The Allen Mustangs’ offense and defense were firing on all cylinders during their 63-53 opening-round victory, fueled by a rowdy crowd and a highly efficient performance.

Despite a gritty middlequarter surge and a tie game heading into the final frame, No. 5 Okarche used a late scoring burst and clinical free-throw shooting to secure a 51–43 victory on Wednesday afternoon.

Its becoming an annual event around Allen these days. And this year, we bave blth teams in for the first time ever! The girls played Okarche at 1:30 Wednesday (yesterday) at the OG&E Coliseum.
