Shop at Home

Once again the Allen Chamber of Commerce will be holding their “Shop at Home” Christmas campaign. Each time you make a purchase of $5 or more at an Allen chamber member’s business you will receive a ticket and be entered in a drawing. On Saturday, December 17th, after Santa’s visit with area children, a drawing will be held in front of the Allen Food Center. Six lucky individuals will be going home with $100 bills.

Atwood Christmas Sunday

The Atwood Community will again have their annual Christmas party at the community center on December 4th at 5:00. There will be having a potluck dinner so everyone please bring a covered dish. There will also be entertainment and Santa will have a gift for the children.

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, December 3rd, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fund-raisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.
