Services held for Terry Blankenship

Terry Ray Blankenship, 63, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the McAlester Regional Health Center.

A funeral service was held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 12th , at the Center Point Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Byron Vinson and Bro. Ed Rutherford.  Burial was at High Bridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sean O’Dell, Rocky Tomlin, Mark Ward, Steven O’Dell, Rex Koller, Tyler Conley, Mason Sennett, Blayne Conley, Blake O’Dell and Brent Williams.

Terry was born on May 1, 1955 in Allen to L.C. Blankenship and Wanda Janet (Raney) Blankenship.  He graduated from Allen High School with the Class of 1973 and immediately attended Tulsa Welding School.  Terry worked as a master welder.

He married Cindee (Collums) Conley in 1994 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Terry is preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Blankenship.

Terry is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Cindee (Collums) Blankenship of the home; daughter, Rachel Conley of Wilburton; son, Benton Conley and wife, Karen of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, Mason, Jasmine, Blayne, and Paisley; parents, L.C. and Wanda Blankenship of Allen; nephew, Kelly Blankenship of Allen; great-granddaughter, Harmony; brother-in-law, John Charles Collums, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Helotes, Texas; sister-in-law Valerie Grosskurth and husband, Paul of Burleson, Texas, and sister-in-law, Janina Fox of Princeton, Texas.

Service arrangements under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton.
