Service held for Betty Sue Nall

Betty Sue Nall passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the age of 86 years.

Sue was the daughter of Millard and Juanita (Nunn) Orr, born on November 6, 1933 in Calvin, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools, graduating from Calvin High School in 1952. She was married to Harold Nall Sr. on May 16, 1953, in McAlester, Oklahoma. They lived in Calvin for many years, before moving to Holdenville, their home since 1977.

Sue worked in various occupations, including Seamprufe, Dairy Mart, Lillian Russell, and as a private home caregiver. She loved to dance, watch TV game shows and sports, particularly the Atlanta Braves and OU Sooner football. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Nall Sr. in 1986; her three children: son, Harold Jr. in 1976, daughter Carolyn Johnson in 2015, son Marty in 2017; son-in-law Kenny Blaylock in 2008; one sister, Delores Lindley, in 2020.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Rath Pryor (April) and Kendra Blaylock, both of Horntown, Kelly Nall and Brad Nall, both of St. Louis Missouri; four greatgrandchildren, Hailey, Riley, Rohby, Jaylee; one sister, Ordis Kight of Holdenville; daughter-in-law Deborah Nall of Holdenville; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 31 st , 10:30 a.m. at the Calvin Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Pallbearers were Bobby Dilbeck, Paul Lindley, Brett Howell, Justin Schornick, and Bill Nall.
