Service held for Aliene Wainscott

Services for Dolly Aliene Wainscott, 92, of Allen were 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23rd, at the Non Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Tommy Chaffin officiated. Burial followed at the Non Cemetery.

Mrs. Wainscott passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at her home. She was born February 16, 1929 in the Parker Community in Coal County, Oklahoma, to James and Willie Fulton.

She married Millard Wainscott on January 5, 1948 and they were married for 73 years. Mrs. Wainscott had worked at Brockway Glass Co., the Gerty Nutrition Site, the peanut company in Allen, farmed in the Calvin area, and she was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Non Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Millard Wainscott, of the home; her children, Steve Wainscott and wife Centhy of Gerty, Barbara Barrett and husband Fred of Allen, and Stoney Wainscott and wife Bobbie of Savanah; her grandchildren, Shane Wainscott, Gerty, Cody Wainscott and wife Terra, Allen, Wes Wainscott and wife Trisha, Allen, Fred Barrett and wife Lesli, Stonewall, and Rowdy Wainscott , Krebs; her great-grandchildren, Nekoda Wainscott, Cambree Wainscott, Kinsey Wainscott, Carter Wainscott, Remi Wainscott, River Wainscott and Peyton Barrett; her brothers, Sonny Fulton and wife Rose, Eufaula and Marvin Fulton and wife Patsy, Gerty; sisters-in-law, Aliene Brooks, Lou Janda and Lemisa Clenney; and brothers-in-law, Morris Wainscott and Don Kerr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Willie Fulton; sisters, Dorothy Eden, Inez Cosper and husband Taft, Wilma Cosper and husband Ernest, and Christine Jones and husband Dale; and a brother, Ples “Son” Fulton and wife Faye.

Bearers were her grandsons, Rowdy Wainscott, Fred Barrett, Shane Wainscott, Cody Wainscott and Wes Wainscott.
