Rites held for Rose Linton

Rose Marie Linton passed away Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Rose was born June 24, 1927 in Non, Oklahoma to Will and Mary Sherfi eld Ingram. She attended Calvin schools and worked in the food service at the Calvin school system for eleven years. Rose was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to play dominoes, listened to country and gospel music. She believed in Faith, God and Country. Rose married Troy Archie Linton in 1947 and he precedes her in death. She was the youngest of nine siblings and all precede her in death.

Rose is survived by two sons, Gary and wife Linda of Salina, Oklahoma, and Steve and wife Elaine of Ada, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brad Linton, John Linton, Shanna Marlin and Jamie White; and four great grandchildren, Troy, Trevor, Rainey and Nolan.

Funeral service were 2:00 PM Friday, June 14th , at the Calvin Auditorium in Calvin, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Interment followed at Non Cemetery in Hughes County.

Pallbearers were Denny Boren, Billy Nall, Earl Ingram, Robert Ingram, Steve Peck and Gene Linton.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
