Rites held for Marvin Fulton

Marvin Delbert Fulton of Gerty, Oklahoma passed away October 16, 2022 at home in Gerty at the age of 82.

Marvin was born December 3, 1940 in Parker, Oklahoma to James Fulton and Willie Mae (Cooper) Fulton. He attended Parker Public School and married Patsy Lou Brothers February 4, 1967 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Marvin worked at Calvin Pickle Co. and was a farmer and rancher most of his life. Marvin farmed peanuts and raised cattle.

He loved fishing, hunting, playing guitar, playing dominoes, visiting with friends and most of all loved planting a big garden trying to raise the biggest and best watermelon and cantaloupes.

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, James Fulton and Willie Mae Fulton; son Brian Fulton; siblings Plez Fulton, Wilma Cosper, Inez Cosper, Dorothy Eden, Aliene Wainscott, and Christine Jones.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Fulton of the home; daughter Kim Impson and Dennis Harden of Gerty; grandchildren Colby Impson, Christopher Impson, Ryan Fulton, and Paul Fulton; greatgrandchildren Jaxsun Fulton, Kingstun Fulton, Wade Fulton, Rylan Fulton and Paislee Fulton. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19th, at Gerty Cemetery with Pastor Randal Miller officiating. Pallbearers are Colby Impson, Christopher Impson, Paul Fulton, James Ward, Leroy Cosper and Steve Wainscott.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
