Rites held for Margaret Dooley

Margaret Ann Dooley of Calvin, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024 at 81 years of age. She moved to Calvin over 35 years from Kilgore, Texas. She loved God, she loved her family, and she loved her friends dearly.

She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Laurent of Calvin; a granddaughter Elizabeth Laurent of Edmond, Oklahoma; a grandson Zachary Laurent of Holdenville, Oklahoma; two great-grandsons, Logan Crowson of Edmond, and Malachi Laurent, of Holdenville; her sister Sheila Barron of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded by death by her brother, James Wood of Sugarland, Texas, and her sister, Pamela Wade of Henrietta, Texas.

Please join us in celebrating her life at the First Baptist Church of Calvin on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Graveside will be at the Calvin cemetery following her celebration. If you feel the need to send flowers, please donate to a church or her favorite charity, St. Judes Children’s hospital.
