Rites held for Jerry Edwards
Jerry Don Edwards passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at McAlester Nursing Center in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 61.
Jerry was born May 26, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Coy Wilson Edwards and Esther Sue Smith Edwards. Jerry graduated from Calvin High School. He was a lineman for various companies from 1985-2002.
Jerry is preceded in death by his dad, Coy Wilson Edwards.
He is survived by his mom Sue Edwards; daughter Amber Breanne Gurley of Wewoka; grandchildren Nevaeh Hale and Ryder Gurley; former wife Leta Edwards of Lane; brother Steve Edwards and wife Dusty of Holdenville; one nephew Hunter Edwards and wife Haley; three nieces Jennifer Hollingsworth, Amie Leader and Kim Colston; and six great-nieces and two great-nephews. Jerry is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 11th, at HudsonPhillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville with Rev Walter Kuhlman officiating, assisted by Ed Dodson.
Services are under the direction of HudsonPhillips Funeral Home Holdenville, Oklahoma.
