Our sympathy is extended to the families of... J.L. Rhodes

Services for J. L. Rhodes, 90, of Ada were 9:30 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Pastor Jerry Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at Fort Sill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Rhodes passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at a local hospital. He was born May 14, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to Garland and Opal Stout Rhodes.

Mr. Rhodes graduated from Allen High School in 1950. He was married to Norma Jo Morris. He served in the US Army in Korea and retired as a Colonel from Oklahoma National Guard. He was affiliated with the Allen American Legion and had served as the local Commander.

Survivors are his wife, of the home; sons, John Rhodes, Terry Rhodes and wife Julie, and Chris Rhodes; daughter, Kathy Rhodes; brother, Richard Rhodes; six grandchildren, Aimee Rhodes, Hayden Rhodes, Brennan Rhodes, Alexandra Rhodes, Jesse D. Rhodes-Wood and Jackson Rhodes; and two step-grandchildren, Madeline Rodriguez and Gable Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Branstetter, of Houston.
