Our sympathy is extended to the families of... Connie Kay Wear

Services for Connie Kay Wear, 72, of Ada, were 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16 th , at Restoration Church, Pastor Brock Barrett and Rev. Willie Fish fficiated. Burial followed at Steedman Cemetery.

Mrs. Wear died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at a care center in Bethany. She was born October 19, 1949 in Talihina to Cimmon Carpenter and Kelsie Morris. She attended Allen and Latta Schools.

She married Randall Wear on May 9, 1997 in Ada. She previously worked with the Chickasaw Nation Procurement, and previously worked for Wrangler Jeans Manufacturing, Solo Cup. Co., Globe Manufacturing and Ballard Nursing Home.

Mrs. Wear enjoyed laughing with friends and family, playing bingo, cooking, home improvement, spending time with her husband and dogs, Taz and Rocky, and attending church.

Survivors include her husband, Randall, of the home; her children, Fern Gunn of Fort Towson, Rebecca French, Ranger, Texas, and Timmy Carpenter Blue, Fort Towson; stepchildren, Randall Wear, Jr., Willa Wear and Shelita Wear, all of Atoka; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas “Dusty” Miller, Ada; sisters, Sue Fish and husband Wille, Norman, Shirley Miller, Leta Burwell, Mae Blankenship and husband Eddie, and Tami Morris, all of Ada; sisters-in-law, Sharell Caton and husband, Jackie, Ada and Phyllis Replogle, Tulsa; brother-in-law, Gary Wear, Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl Carpenter, Kenneth Carpenter and Terry Miller; and sister, Mattie Thurman.

Bearers were Michael Parker, Justin Miller, Eddie Blankenship, Carmello Reveles, Jason Burwell and Dustin Langley. Honorary bearers were Brandon Blankenship, Caleb Short and Willie Fish.
