Danielle Frazier Passes Away

Danielle Marie Frazier passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later time.

Danielle was born in Ada, Oklahoma on September 5, 1990 to Daniel and Sherri (nee Hartwig) Frazier. She attended Pampa, Texas schools where she was active in band, playing the trumpet and French horn from 5th grade until graduating in 2009.

Danielle was a proud Chickasaw citizen and fully embraced her native culture. She was a 10 year employee of the Chickasaw Nation and served as an administrative assistant for the Performing Arts Department of the Arts and Humanities Division at the time of her death.

She was a member of the Ada Arts Council and enjoyed knitting, beading, listening to music, applying make-up and was passionate about bullet journaling, handlettering and fountain pens.

Danielle was a kind, loving and compassionate person who adored her friends and family and was especially devoted to her little brother, who she affectionately called “Willis”. She was always willing to be of service in any capacity in her personal or professional life. She wanted to be remembered most for unconditionally accepting people for who they were.

Danielle is survived by her mother Sherri Parsons; father Daniel Frazier; step-mother Janet Frazier; maternal grandmother Michelle Rice; paternal grandmother Velma Frazier; brothers Shane White and Dominick “Willis” Parsons; step sister Angela Jordan; stepbrothers Michael Jordan and Ryan Johnson; aunts Kerri Burgess, Christie Frazier, Sonya Frazier and Hollie Frazier; uncles Mark Page, George Frazier, Gabriel Frazier, and Fred Brown; and many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a small army of friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather George Hartwig, Sr.; paternal grandfather George Frazier; greatgrandmothers Hazel Anderson, Flora Perry and Martha Stick; aunts Karen Page and Angela Brown; uncles George Hartwig, Jr., Mark Frazier and Edgar Frazier; and cousins, Cody Frazier and Travis Brown.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Traditions Hospice (formerly Centennial Hospice) for the excellent care they provided to Danielle during her last days. Memorial donations can be made in Danielle’s name to the Chickasaw Foundation
