Mark Legg was selected as this week’s Citizen of the Week at the Allen Nutrition Site.

Three Allen FFA members competed Thursday, July 28th, in the T&D Meats Welders Rodeo. The event was held at the Wes Watkins Technology Center, Wetumka. Congratulations to the Champion Team of Samuel Wallace, Hunter Boyd and Jacob Beavert.

Thanks everyone for your prayers while I was in the hospital. Also thanks to Jimmy for mowing my lawn and my sone Terry for staying with me and for all he has done. A big thanks to Ida for watering my fl owers and garden. I appreciate everything you do for me and taking me around.

The Allen Nutrition Site has added a “Senior of Week” drawing to their activities. Each week a participant’s name will be drawn and the lucky winner will receive a small prize.

Stanley G. Lasarsky, 92, of Allen lost his life Thursday, July 15 , in a farm/tractor accident southwest of Allen in a private property pasture on Highway 1. The incident occurred about 10:00 p.m. and Lasarsky was pinned for approximately four hours before being released.
