Linda Jackson Passes Away

Linda Diane Jackson of Stratford, Oklahoma was born September 12, 1949 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Willie and Lucille House. She passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years 7 months and 27 days. She grew up in Wolf, Oklahoma and attended school at Bowleggs, and graduated from Marland Public school in Marland, Oklahoma in 1969. She married Ronald Jackson on December 10, 1966 in Salinas, California. They lived there for the next 6 months then moved to Seminole, to Allen for 15 years, Stringtown, Texoma, and moving to Stratford in 2015. Linda worked in banking for many years, but her most important job was that of being a homemaker where she loved to cook for her husband, children, and grandchildren. NanNan as her grandchildren so lovingly called her, also loved riding horses in her younger years, fishing, gardening, loved her fur babies Yorkie’s Button and Zipper. She and Ron were members of the Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Willie and Lucille House. Linda is survived by; her husband Ron of the home in Stratford; daughter; Kim Carroll of Bigsby, Oklahoma; sons; Shane Jackson & wife Angela of Allen, OK, Tyson Shade Jackson & wife Erin of Burbank, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren. Plus her Fur Babies Button and Zipper. Graveside Services were 2:00 PM Thursday May 11, 2023 in McGee Cemetery Stratford, OK with Rev. Lewis Perry officiating
