Haley Snider My Nana gets our turkey at Walmart and our turkey weighs 41 pounds and we cook it for 30 minutes and my family helps me eat the turkey. Baylee Stephens My mom and dad gets the turkey at the store. When they get home we cut the turkey, then we stuff it with chicken, then we eat it. Thanksgiving week trash schedule _ Dumpsters will be picked up on regular scheduled day Wednesday Residential poly carts will be picked up Friday. Be patient - it will be a big trash day so they may have to make extra trips. Happy Thanksgiving!!

The Farmers State Bank is accepting applications for its 2023 Angel Tree. Twenty children, ages birth to 12 years, that meet the DHS Snap Program Guidelines will be accepted on a first-come basis. All applications will be reviewed after the application has been filled out. You MUST have proof of income and SNAP at the time you are applying for the Angel Tree. Apply in person at Farmers State Bank, ask for Amanda Tollett or Paige Rinehart. The deadline for applications is November 28th. If your child is school age, they MUST attend Allen Public School!!
