Jae L. and Crossover to perform February 15

McSwain Theatre’s longtime performer Jae L. Stilwell and the band Crossover will entertain McSwain patrons at 7 p.m., Feb. 15. Along with classic hits, gospel and country music, Jae L. and Crossover will be performing hits from the 1930s. Regular ticket price will be $15, $13 for seniors and $10 for children.

Voters Should Apply Early for Absentee Ballots

Voters in Pontotoc County who want to have absentee ballots mailed to them for the March 3 rd Presidential Preferential Primary Election should apply now. Although the County Election Board can accept applications for absentee ballots until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26 th , voters who want to vote by absentee ballot to apply early. At least two mail transactions must be made. The County Election Board must mail the ballots to the voter and the voter must return the voted ballots by mail. Ballots must be in the hands of County Election Board officials by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
