Allen basketball player Chad Milne was recently selected as the only player from Class A to play in the 2021 Oklahoma All-State boys’ basketball game. The Oklahoma Coaches Association’s selection of the 19-year-old also makes him the first high school boys basketball player from Allen to make the Oklahoma All-State roster since 1990.

Jerry Raymond Green departed this life on Friday, May 14, 2021. He was surrounded by his family at home and faded peacefully into the arms of his Lord. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21 , at the First Assembly of God Church in Holdenville with Pastor Ruby Nell York officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.
