Carolyn Ann Huffstutlar, 80, of Allen, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at her home in Citra, Oklahoma.

Carolyn was born April 5, 1942 to Ransom and Effie Levingston Tatum. She married Ruben Edward Huffstutlar Jr. on December 24, 1959. Carolyn graduated from Gerty High School in 1960; she worked as quality control for Solo Cup Company for many years, Tate Equipment, Allen Peanut Co., Seam Proof, Clopay, Bob’s Fast Pac and Allen Quick Pic before retiring.

She was a member of Richmond Freewill Baptist Church in Allen. She loved her church and church family, but her favorites were her grandkids and greatgrandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Huffstutlar, of the home; one daughter Susie Starns and husband Gary of Ada; one son Gary Huffstutlar and wife Monica of Citra; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Starns and wife Brittney, Misty Stephens and husband Brandon all of Ada, Ashton and Kaylee Huffstutlar of Citra; four great-grandchildren Brayleigh and Brady Stephens, Madie Gilmore and Walker Starns all of Ada; three brothers Sammy Tatum and wife Linda of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Dub Tatum and wife Peggy of Holdenville, and Bill Tatum of Ada; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded her in death were her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Leon Huffstutlar; sister-in-law, Connie Tatum; and nephew, David Huffstutlar.

Funeral services were held at Richmond Ave Freewill Baptist Church in Allen on Wednesday,

April 13th , at 10:00 AM. Interment followed at Allen Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gary Huffstutlar, Gary Starns, Cheyenne Starns, Stan Wallace, David Wallace, and Eddie Battershell. Honorary pallbearers were Gabriel Gomez, Mario Gonzalez, Miguel Roniss, Jimmy Nix, and Harris Zackary.

Arrangements were under the direction of Estes-Phillips Funeral Home, Ada.
