Services to be held for Michael Hopper

Michael Carlos Hopper passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home in Allen, Oklahoma at the age of 57.

Michael was born July 4, 1964 in Jal, New Mexico to Elmer Hopper and Virginia (Applegate) Hopper. Michael graduated from Allen Public High School. He married Marlene Jackson February 9, 2003 in Ada, Oklahoma. Michael worked oil field construction for Dresser Engineering.

Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandma Evilor Caudill; paternal grandparents Elmer Hopper and Biva Martin; and father Elmer C. Hopper.

He is survived by his wife Marlen of the home; mother Virginia Hopper; daughters Angel Ashby and husband Jonathan of Allen, Rochelle Spray and husband Kevin of Atwood, and Crissy Conley and husband Zack of Byng; sons Coty Hopper and Gabby Jones of Non, and Duane Fenwick and Leona Jones of Ada; daughter-in-law Kaitlyn Hopper of Allen; grandchildren Madalene Foreman and Joe Colgate, Tyler Mitchell of Ada, Kaden and Korbin Ashby of Allen, Christina House, Brinlee and Alinea of Byng, and Tuff Hopper and Lyrics Hopper of Allen; sisters Debbie Rodgers and husband John of Fittstown, and Diann Coffee and husband Harold of Ada; brother Justin Bryant of Georgia; nieces and nephews Steven Rodgers of Fittstown, Brittany, Michael, J.D. and Ensey of Ada. Michael is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be 12:00 PM-7:00 PM Thursday, April 28 th , at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 29 th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Carol and Louis Hopper officiating. Interment will follow at Black Rock Cemetery, Pontotoc County.

Pallbearers are Justin Bryant, Kaden Ashby, Tyler Mitchell, Coty Hopper, Duane Fenwick, and Acea Duran. Honorary pallbearers are C.J. Redman, Willie Patillo, Tony Matthews, Daniel Duran, Kevin Spray, Zack Conley and Jonathan Ashby.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, OK.
