Service held for Rose Marie Warden

Rose Marie Warden passed away at her home in Non, Oklahoma early Friday morning, December 7, 2018. She was 90 years old.

Rose was the daughter of Joseph & Opel (Schell) Gasner, the fifth of their twelve children. She was born on March 22, 1928, in Sterling, Colorado.

She married Robert Clark Collard in Denver, Colorado, and together they had three children: Joseph Collard, Roseann Aldridge, and Carla Raney. She married Lester Warden on July 26, 1975. They lived in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she enjoyed working in a local school cafeteria and later the VFW. They were married 23 years when Lester passed away in November, 1998.

Rose has lived the past 20 years in Non, Oklahoma, where she worked for a few years at the Gerty Nutrition Center. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She attended the Non Free Will Baptist Church in Non, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Opel (Schell) Gasner; her husbands, Robert Collard and Lester Warden; four brothers: John, Joe, Sammy, and Pete; six sisters: Gertrude, Barbara, Veronica, Agnes, Shirley, and Virginia.

She is survived by one brother, Leo Gasner (Linda); her three children: Joseph Collard of the home, Roseann Aldridge (Allen) of Bassett, Virginia, and Carla Raney (Gary) of Non, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren: Jason Collard (Teresa), Randall Collard, Aden Marlar, Robert Marlar, Michelle Marlar, LaDonna Waters (Travis), Amy McDonald (Shane), Gary Joe Raney (Salina), and Joshua Raney; twenty great grandchildren: Aaron Marlar, Nichole Marlar, Allie Marlar, Ca-son Marlar, Sadie Marlar, Jacqueline Hehr, Casey Hehr, Madison Marlar, Jake Waters, Alara Waters, Alyssa Waters, Conner McDonald, Cody McDonald, Cory McDonald, Garrett Raney (Libby), Gary L. Raney, Tyler Raney, Mikaela Raney, Teagan Raney, and Dylan Raney; five great great grandchildren: Jax Marlar, Jimma Marlar, Anthony Marlar, Hailey Marlar, and Haven Raney; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 10, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Home’s Lillye Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Chaffin officiating.

Graveside rites and interment took place on Tuesday, December 11, 10:00 a.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Texas. Pallbearers were Aden Marlar, Jason Collard, Randall Collard, Cody McDonald, and Aaron Marlar.
