Mary Joyce McCullar, 88, lifelong resident of the Hartshorne area, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Mary Joyce was born on April 12, 1934 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Anthony “Tony” and Stella (Grego) Bullett. She married Carl Mc-Cullar on January 25, 1952 in Hartshorne. She owned and operated Cottage Flower Shop in Hartshorne for 16 years. She enjoyed arranging flowers, sewing and gardening. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne.

She is survived by a daughter and son-inlaw, Diana and Tony Nemecek of Ada, OK; granddaughter and spouse, Dana and Wes Sanford of Ada, OK; grandson, Josh Nemecek of Ada, OK; 3 great-grandchildren, Kylie Nemecek of Ada, OK, Daycie and Eli Nemecek of Shawnee, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McCullar; son, Danny McCullar; parents, Anthony and Stella Bullett; brothers, Jim Bullett and Ed Bullett.

Rosary was held 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in Hartshorne. Mass will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 8th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne with Father Bryan Ketterer officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne. Active pallbearers will be Tony Nemecek, Wes Sanford, Jim Grego, John Grego, Randy Stevens and Vic Bullard. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Nemecek, Neil Bibbs, Joe Nemecek and Eli Nemecek.
