Graveside services for Martha Ellen Krebbs, 93, of Ada were 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Center Hill Cemetery near Folsom in Atoka County. Brother Tom Hall from Stonewall Assembly of God Church officiated.

Mrs. Krebbs passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at an Ada nursing home. She was born May 25, 1929 at Plains, Kansas to Montgomery Oscar Rose and Cordelia Orem Kinsall Gowens. She lived in Kansas for the early years of her life, there she met the love of her life, Matthew Krebbs from Wilson, Oklahoma. They were married on September 5, 1946, made their home in Wilson, later moving to Stonewall. He preceded her in death June 8, 2008. She has been a resident of Ada Baptist Village for five years.

Martha was the mother of five children, three daughters and two sons, Mary Ellen, Gail, Derral, Steve and Kathie; and sister to six brothers and four sisters, Bill, Charles, Ernest, Amos, Martin, and David, Ilene, Elsie, Mary Jo and Bessie.

Martha is survived by her brother, David Gowens; four children, Gail Alberson of Blackwell, Derral Krebbs and wife Yvonne of Blackwell, Steve Krebbs and wife Judy of Ada, and Kathie Ashby of Allen; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.

Martha was a homemaker who loved to raise a garden, make quilts and ceramics, paint pictures, attend church, and cook for her family.

Martha raised her children in the church, being a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stonewall for many years.
