George Ailum Guinn passed away May 26, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by his beloved family. George was born on June 19, 1935 in Parker Oklahoma to his loving parents Luther and Hilda Guinn.

During George’s life he enjoyed playing musical instruments and listening to hymns in church with his family. He also was an avid outdoorsman and delighted in hunting and fishing during his free time. When early summertime came around, George also frequented yard sales in hopes to find neat treasures.

During his working life, George was a welder and proudly helped to construct bridges around Pontotoc County.

George will be greatly missed by all who knew him and his legacy will live on through his friends and family for years to come.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Hilda Guinn; brothers, Estel, Vester, Buster, and Burl Guinn; his sisters Sara Whitfield, and Arlene Beal; his first wife, Olevia Prince Guinn, and second wife Mary Ida Guinn; his son Cleaborn Guinn and daughter Carol Guinn Wainscott; and his grandson Lucas Wainscott.

George is survived by his two sisters Irene Haynes and Pearline Ratozlaff; and his children, Etta Stovall, Roxine and Buddy Littlefeild, Anita and Lee Cowan, Bonnie and Tim McAnally, and Gary and Carolyn Thomas; his grandchildren Camey, Pete, Kim, Georgina, Trisha, Dawnetta, Chris, Josh, John, Natalee, Tricia, Amanda, Kimberly, Maranda, Destiny, Joshua, and Jordan; and many greatgrandchildren and greatgreat- grandchildren.

There was a funeral service held to honor George’s life on Wednesday, May 29th, at 10:00AM at Phillips Funeral Home in Ada with interment to follow at Pine Cemetery in Calvin, Oklahoma.
