Service held for Carrie Moore

Carrie Denise (Gallagher) Moore, age 45, a life-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away October 8, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12th, at the Performing Arts Center Building located at the Konawa High School under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church of Konawa officiated, and burial followed at Vista Cemetery. Casket bearers were Colby Eberle, Cale Eberle, Bode Gallagher, Steven Gentry, Hayden Moore, and Michael McElroy.

Carrie was born October 5, 1978 in Ada, Oklahoma to Donald Charles Gallagher and Paula Jean (Shaw) Gallagher. She graduated from Konawa High School and became a Master Barber and Beautician for more than twenty years. She married Dusty Allen Moore August 30, 2007 in Konawa, and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Konawa. Carrie was a little league cheer coach and an all-around baseball mom who loved doing holiday crafts, painting, and making homemade jewelry.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Dusty Moore of the home; her parents, Don and Paula Gallagher of Konawa; two sons, Grady Moore and Tate Moore, both of Konawa; two daughters, Aubri Moore of Konawa, and Maddox Wofford of Allen, Oklahoma; one brother, Brandon Gallagher and wife, Tiffani of Watonga, Oklahoma; one sister, Tami Eberle and husband, Frank of Konawa; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Max and Lois Gallagher, and Ellis and Anna Shaw.
