Rites held for Shirley Webster

Shirley (Wadzeck) Webster was born August 11, 1934 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to William (Bill) Manke and Irene Mae Manke. Her parents were ranchers and after the Great Blizzard of 1949 they sold their ranch and moved to Colorado.

Shirley graduated high school from Aguilar, Colorado. During her life she rodeoed, worked on ranches with her husband, had race horses and lived a good life on the ranges and mountains of the outdoors she loved.

She is preceded in death by three husbands, six children, one brother, one sister, her mother and father.

Survivors include a sister, Carol Cardwell and niece Krista Henderson of Wichita Falls, Teas; a grandson, Cody Wadzeck and wife Lisa; two great-grandsons, Cole and Tyler of Salt Lake City, Utah; a niece, Laurel Damico and family of Fort Worth, Texas; nephew Norman Manke of Trinidad, Colorado; daughter-in-law Bonnie Wadzeck of Clarksville, Georgia; two step-sons, Clarence and Charles Webster and their families of Allen, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Linda Bristol and Mark of Morgan Hill, California; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Harrah, Oklahoma and currently resided at Summit Ridge Retirement Village in Harrah.

Interment will be at Crestview Cemetery and Mausoleum in Wichita Falls, Texas. A memorial date is pending.
