Rites held for Ethol Qualls

Ethol Marie Qualls, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2025, after a brave battle with metastatic melanoma. She was surrounded by her loving family at Harris Hospital.
Born on a farm in Citra, Oklahoma, Ethol grew up with strong roots in faith and family. She met her husband, George Qualls, at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. They married on March 27, 1964, and shared 61 years together.
Ethol was a dedicated Special Education and PE teacher until retiring in 1994. She spent her retirement adventuring with and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband George; sons Grant (Ginger) and Greg (Ann); grandchildren, Taylor, Dakota, Anna and Abby; great- grandchildren Beau, Lyric, Rory, and Christian; sister Agnes Taylor; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Gray.
A celebration of life was held Monday, April 7th, at 1:00 p.m. at Allen Church of Christ, with graveside service following at the Allen Cemetery.
