Services for Claude Edgar Windle, 75, of Allen was 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. His grandson, Zane Harrison officiated. His final resting place is Hickory Grove Cemetery in Haywood, OK.

He was born December 18, 1946 in McAlester, Oklahoma to John Earl Windle and Mary Mitchell (Riddle) Windle. He grew up around Haywood, Oklahoma.

Edd served two tours in Vietnam. He married Lynda Windle on March 4, 1977. She preceded him in death December 21, 2019. Edd was a Lineman by trade.

He is survived by two sisters, Cora Youngblood and Ruby Breesawitz; one brother, J.M. Windle; two sons, Tim Ferree and wife Beverly and Bryan Windle and wife Holly; two daughters, Dawn Alvarado and husband Rob and Crystal Ferree and Chris Davidson; grandchildren, Lori Ferree, Rachel Ferree, Zeke Mattox, Randi Mattox, Tim Ferree, Skylar Alvarado, Presley Ferree, Bryan Hudson, Jon Hudson, Jamie Atwood, Daylan Davidson, Zane Harrison, Haven Harrod and Ryzer Foster; and many greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Edd was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Windle; his wife, Lynda Windle; sisters, Laura Whitefield, Nora Bennett and Dora Mullins; brother, Martin Windle and grandson Chris Ferree. Bearers will be Daniel Cummings, Elzy Campbell, Brad Wofford, Chuck Wofford, Jeb Bailey and Michael Bailey. Honorary bearers will be Zane Harrison, Tim Ferree, Chris Davidson, Jon Hudson, Bryan Hudson, Zeke Mattox and Kazz Griffin.
