Judy Hoover Passes Away

Judy Carrol Hoover passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 78.

Judy was born June 30, 1944 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to W.L. (Bill) Cook and Jackie (Smith) Cook. Judy graduated from Holdenville High School. In high school she worked at Amos Drug Store in Holdenville. After graduating from high school, she attended business school in Oklahoma City. Later Judy worked at Dolton Hardware, Moore Tag Agency, and file clerk for ConocoPhillips Oil. She was a substitute teacher, softball coach, Bluebird leader, and PTA member. Judy loved to shop thrift stores, work puzzles, travel in the RV and visit with campers at the RV Park.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Jackie Cook.

She is survived by her husband Wallace Joe Hoover of the home; daughter Carrol (CJ) Hoover of Holdenville; sisters, Susan Mayfield and husband Johnny of Spaulding, Cindy Colbert and husband Cletus of Wewoka, and Debbie Milner of Allen.

Memorial service will be set by the family at a later date.
