Carol Don McCarn Passes Away

Carol Don McCarn passed away Wednesday, December 25th, 2019 in his home in Atwood, Oklahoma at the age of 84.

Carol as born December 8th, 1935 in Atwood, Oklahoma to Unis Mc-Carn and Pearl Butler McCarn. Carol graduated from Atwood public schools. He married Ellen Marie Runkles July 18, 1970 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. He served our country in the US Air Force in the Korean War. Carol worked for Builders Service as a mechanic for many years. He was a member of the Atwood First Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed welding, mowing yard, making things out of horse shoes and playing the guitar.

Carol is preceded in death by parents and 11 siblings. He is survived by his wife Ellen of the home, children; Michael Mc-Carn and wife Marsha of Allen, Oklahoma, Gerald McCarn and wife Starla of Ada, Oklahoma, Robert Poindexter and wife Jacqui of Gordonville, Texas, Cindy Sutton and husband Jackie of Bowie Texas, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, special nephews; Jason Glass of Mustang, Don McCarn of Holdenville, numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be at a later date.
