Funeral services for Michael Lynn “Mike” Bixler were held 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 9 , at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Pastor Duwayne Colvin officiating.

Carol Sue Pipkin passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, in Corsicana, Texas at the age of 90. She was born February 25, 1932 to Mabel and Tom Jacobs in Allen, Oklahoma. She was the older of two daughters. Her fa ther was a rough neck and ran a camp for Sun Ray DX Oil Company.

Charlotte Christine Fletcher, affectionately known as Chris, passed away in her home in Ore City, Texas on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born on August 17, 1942 in the small town of Non, Oklahoma to George Hulett Cosper, Sr. and Mattie Jewel McKnight Cosper.

James Lee Nickell was born April 3, 1938, in Allen, Oklahoma to Arvil and LaVernia Nickell. He was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services for Millard Lee Wainscott, 94, of Allen were 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 27 , at Non Cemetery with Rev. Randall Miller officiating.

Patricia Ruth Tate, formerly Patricia Ruth Malone, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the age of 78. We are sure of her presence with the Lord because of her faith in Jesus as her Savior.

The heavy cruiser USS Pittsburgh should live in fame as the ship that saved the carrier USS Franklin on March 19, 1945, after a devastating Japanese air strike. The Pittsburgh raced to the Franklin and lashed a tow line to the flaming carrier.

Services for Louis Ray Jarrett, 73, of Gerty are 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Richmond Ave. Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Buddy Drake and Rev. Bobby Briggs will officiate. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.

May Alice Wallace Douglas, 94 years of age, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Melbourne, Florida.

Memorial Day services at the Allen Cemetery will be observed Monday, May 30 , at 11:00 a.m. Speaker will be Wayne Bullard and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
