The Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church, Holdenville, will be celebrating their 90th year in ministry on July 16, 2023. Bro. Jim Crawford has been pastor since October 2000 and will bring the morning message. The service begins at 10:45 a.m. and dinner will follow.

What a day for Allen to celebrate its Independence! The weather was perfect, upper 80s to low 90s, the parade was well attended with lots of entries, the hot dogs were hot and the drinks were cold, the kid games were fun and the music was great (thanks, Connor)!

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, July 1st, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fund-raisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.

The sewer plant this Saturday, July 1st from 10-2 for you to dispose of unwanted items in our rolloff dumpster. $10 per trailer load. The location of the dumpster is at the sewer plant on Camper Road. If you have limbs and brush we will have a pile so you can add yours for free!
