Congratulations to the Allen FFA Team 1 for placing High Overall at the Pontotoc County Fair Livestock Judging. For most of these students this was their first time to compete on a judging team.

Team 1 members and their placings in the Top 10 Individuals were: Brakstin Horton, 2nd High Individual; Brogen Goodson, 4th High Individual; and Kamlyn Cundiff, 13th High Individual.

Also placing in the top 10 Individuals was Cami Fredrick, 9th High Individual, a member of Allen Team 2. Also on Team 2 are Emma Tomb, Hunter Langley, and Taylor Batey.

Allen FFA members on Team 3 are Jaxson Linker, Tye Milne, Maddie Crabtree, and Alleigh Horton, Allen FFA Team 4 includes Ely O’Daniel and Ford Bell.

Animal showings for the FFA and 4-H students began Friday with the Sheep Show. Congratulations to Maddie Crabtree for winning Breed Champion Speckle Wether and Champion Intermediate Showman. Also placing in the Sheep Division were Brady Crabtree and Cameron Batey.

The Goat Show began Saturday morning and Kamlyn Cundiff brought home the Grand Champion Wether, Reserve Grand Doe, and Champion Senior Wether Showman. Eddie Gonzales earned Champion Junior Wether Showman, and Harlie Langley was named Champion Intermediate Wether Showman.

Others placing in the Goat Class were Brakstin Horton, Alleigh Horton, Taylor Batey, Eddie Gonzalez, Mario Gonzalez, Isabella Gonzalez, Hunter Langley and Brinley Nemecek.

Mabree Howard placed in the Cattle Show with Reserve Breed Champion Polled Hereford, and Champion Junior Showman.
