2020 Allen High School graduate, Kaylyn Rowsey recently celebrated her white coat ceremony at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine on August 5,2023. This significant milestone marks her dedication and commitment to her journey of becoming a doctor of osteopathic medicine.

When a Red Oak, Texas boy marries an Atwood, Oklahoma girl and they settle in her hometown, the result is a benefit for the whole area.

T a x - F r e e Weekend, or Sales Tax Holiday returns to Oklahoma this upcoming weekend. The state sales tax of 4.5%, as well as county and municipal taxes (which vary) will be waived the first weekend in August for Oklahoma shoppers.
