Area veterans will be honored next Friday, November 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in the school auditorium. All area residents are invited to attend to show their respect and gratitude to those who served our country.

The Allen Masonic Lodge will be serving a Catfish Dinner on Sunday, November 12th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 p.m. The meal will include the fish, coleslaw, potato salad, hush puppies, beans and dessert.

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, November 4th, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fund-raisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.

The picture is clear for the Allen football team. Defeat Mounds Friday night and head to the playoffs or lose and head to basketball season.

Forty two scary zombies and 73 surviving runners filled the streets of Allen last Saturday night for the Annual Zombie Run. Thank to everyone that participated and special thanks to the Chickasa Naiton Define Your Direction and Farmers State Bank for sponsoring the annual event.
