Holdenville was the second hardest hit city in a night of tornadoes across the state last Saturday, April 27th. Sirens sounded twice, warning locals to seek shelter. After the storms had passed, most of the city had lost power. Crews came quickly and had power restored by Sunday morning.

The Calvin Masonic Lodge #221 is holding a Smoked Rib Sale.

The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a Mother’s Day dinner this Sunday, May 12th. This is a fundraiser with money raised being used to fund scholarships for Allen seniors. The dinner of pork cutlets and sides will be served in the Lodge building from 11:00 to 2:00 pm.
