Emily Sells was recently recognized as a OSU Rural Scholar. Emily is the daughter of Marty and Melissa Sells and a 2021 graduate of Allen High School. She is currently in her junior year at OSU studying animal science.

Bachelor’s degrees are expected to be granted to 322 candidates as East Central University conducts its 2024 Spring Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 11th, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Kerr Activities Center.

This Saturday, May 11th, letter carriers across central and western Oklahoma will collect nonperishable food donations from homes on their routes as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a Mother’s Day dinner this Sunday, May 12th. This is a fundraiser with money raised being used to fund scholarships for Allen seniors.
