Tonight, December 23, the Third Annual Commuity Christmas Dinner will feature a menu of ham, turkey, dressing, and fresh rolls will be served. Also there will be a wide choices of deserts.

Join the Allen Masonic Lodge for breakfast Saturday, January 3rd, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., at the Lodge on West Broadway. The breakfast fundraisers are held the first Saturday of each month with a menu of sausage, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns and coffee.

Last Saturday, the Allen Cheer Squad traveled to Moore to compete in the Class 2A Game Day Regional. After a great performance, the team waited anxiously for the results — and it was worth it! For the first time in school history, the squad has earned the right to compete at the State Competition!

Allen Schools Elementary School Principal Amy Mayhue has implemented a program this year where teachers can refer students to her office for positive accomplishments. She spoke about it to the Allen Board of Education Monday at its regular meeting.

Applications are being taken for names to be placed on the 2025 Farmers State Bank Angel Tree, now until November 26th. The first 25 children that meet the DHS Snap Program Guidelines will be accepted.

The Mustangs ended their regular season with a bang last Friday night here when they demolished the Gore Pirates, 41-6. The Pirates were physical, but the Mustangs were too much for them in the end.

Weather Location Update - Old Gym Due to possible inclement weather, we’re moving the start and all activities to the old gym!

The scoreboard was lit up for 99 points last Thursday night, but the Mustangs broke the half-a-hundred mark to grab a huge win in Tulsa, 51-48. In a wild, back and forth game that saw both teams take two touchdown leads at one point, the Mustangs prevailed with, of all things, defense.

Trick or Treat & Fall Craft Fun in Allen! Trick-or-treating in Allen will take place Saturday, November 1! Since there’s a home Allen football game on Halloween night, the city has moved the event to Saturday so more houses can take part in the annual fun.

The Allen Masonic Lodge will be holding a fish fry fundraiser dinner on Sunday, October 26th. Money raised will go to assist the Food Bank, Team Ty, and the Farmers State Bank Angel Tree.
