Thought for the Week

The older I get, the more I appreciate every day God gives me. I appreciate the “prize” I receive every morning and fully agree with the following which was sent to us a while back by one of our readers.

My dear friend the late Kenny Conn sent me the following “advice” a few years back. The older we get, the more confused we get about how we present ourselves.

There are always some interesting classifieds and here some of my favorites I have collected over the years from the classified page… House to let. Furnished with period pieces from an unfortunate period.

A first-grade teacher who collected old, wellknown proverbs. She gave each kid in her class the first half of a proverb and had them come up with the rest. Here are the results.

My favorite story of the week is about a gentlemen named Morris. He is an 82 year-old man who went to the doctor to get a physical.
