Ernestine was born November 10, 1933 in Ada to Ernest T. and Atha Kit Blackburn Landrith. She grew up in a large loving family with seven brothers and sisters whom she adored. Love came easily for her, she loved unconditionally without boundaries. She lived for family and friends, and her work, but most importantly lived by the Golden Rule “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
