Guess what time it is??? Scavenger hunt time!!! We are doing things a teeny bit differently this year. We will still be hunting for a “prize” egg (no specific color), however, the grand prize is not in a Golden Egg.

Allen sports and academics were talked about Thursday, March 7th, at the regular meeting of the Allen Board of Education.

Week of March 11th

Area youngsters need to get their baskets ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event, sponsored by the Allen Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 23rd, in the Allen City Park.

Last Sunday local residents Wayne and Pat Bullard took time to celebrate their birthdays. Wayne turned 89 on February 25th and his Wife Pat turned 85 on March 5th.

The Allen Show Team wrapped up the Pontotoc County Livestock Show Saturday with the Premium Sale! The kids have worked hard throughout the year for this. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported them during the week!

Local voters agreed with the rest of the state and most of the nation as they cast ballots Tuesday in the Primary Presidential Election.
