We didn’t have any swimming pools in Stonewall, at least not like a lot of towns such as Allen have. In 1944 I was still sort of new to living there but thought I was in hog heaven anyway, having lived in Centrahoma until 1944.

Will we just have to “live” with Covid from now on? Seems that’s the way it was with the famous Spanish Flu. It peaked out back in 1918 after it had killed about 500 million people worldwide. To this day we have to take our annual flu shots since the old “flu” still lurks about.

An ancient King of France (or at least part of France) was named Charles the Simple. He ruled way back around 900 AD and he was the cousin of Charles the Fat who also got to wear the crown for a while.

My good friend, Wayne Bullard, celebrated his birthday Friday. I called to see why I was not invited to the party and he told me that Pat was not giving him one. However, I am sure I heard noise in the background.

What would it be like to get a letter in the mail from Jesus?

I don’t why or when I started doing this. I don’t even think about it. I have always signed my emails, letters, and other correspondence by writing, “Your Servant, Walker Moore.” Some have remarked that my letter closing is odd. Some have said I am not their servant.
