my mother, Brenda Wofford, taught in the Allen Elementary for 20-plus years. She had many of the residents of this community as students.

My daughter, Maddox, graduated from AHS in 2022 and is currently attending East Central University. My sons are both Allen students, Brax is in the 8th grade and Clete is just getting started on his educational journey as a Kindergarten student. While my wife, Angela, isn’t an Allen grad, she is very proud of the school our kids attend.

After my high school graduation, I attended Murray State then East Central University. I have worked for Locke’s Supply in Ada for the past 27 years and have been the manager of that multimillion dollar business for a good number of those years.

In Allen, as in all small towns, the school is the heart of the community. It’s what connects us all and is vital to our wellbeing. Tradition is important but so is the ability and willingness to change. I know the school’s past and look forward to its future.
