Scenes like those above were everywhere in Allen as winds in excess of 80 mph roared through Allen early Wednesday morning. Uprooted trees and other damage had been reported including a mobile home being turned onto its side west of Allen and multiple 18-wheelers toppled on Interstate

35. As of 10:30 Wednesday morning over 6000 customers were still without electricity in Pontotoc County due to powerlines down. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
