I want to give the community an update on our transportation bond that we passed last year. The community approved the school buying two new route buses, one activity bus, a new Ag truck, Suburban, and drivers ed car (Equinox).

After the bond was passed our school received Covid Relief Funds from the federal government and this money could be used for yellow route buses but not activity buses. The school board voted to approve purchasing a second activity bus with the bond money and purchasing one of the route buses through the Covid money.

Last summer we received the two new route buses, one activity bus, suburban and driver’s ed car. We have been waiting all year on the second activity bus and the Ag truck. With lots of Covid excuses from the supplier we received our second activity bus last Tuesday and our Ag truck is scheduled to be delivered this June.

We are very thankful and proud of our new vehicles and want to thank you again for supporting the school. This is the latest on what has happened so far on this bond.
