They Were Egged
Last Saturday evening a group of local Easter Bunnies scattered all over town to Francis, Atwood, Gerty and all yards in between.
In the dark of night they covered 70 houses with around 2,000 candy filled eggs. Over 150 kids woke up Sunday morning to their house being “egged”. Each house also had hidden a gold prize egg with a gold dollar and a coupon for a free ice cream cone from McDonalds.
Big thanks to all the hiders, the sponsors and families that signed up for this event.
The Egging started last year when during the Pandemic Allen didn’t have their annual egg hunt in the park because of Covid restrictions. The group had so much fun last year that they decided to do it again. This year they added scavenger hunt to the fun.
